Located along North Davidson Street, NoDa, as the locals call it, could easily be Charlotte's official arts district. With gallery crawls every first and third Friday of each month and an increasing number of eclectic watering holes with surprisingly good food, NoDa has a little something for everyone. Located just a couple of miles from the heart of downtown Charlotte, living in NoDa provides a quick commute and easy access to the interstate, but seems far enough away from any hustle and bustle. With many of the neighborhood's bungalows getting serious face lifts, and new modern townhome and apartment construction, NoDa is a great mix of native Charlotteans and professional young transplants. If you're looking for culture and a friendly atmosphere, NoDa is the place to be.
