Making a portfolio

I'm thinking about making a portfolio to show prospective clients (for me that would be brokers, but for most of you it would be sellers or buyers). Perhaps you have had success creating a portfolio and presenting it to clients... I'm thinking about adding pictures from the local paper and magazines (local and national) that I've done. Maybe more importantly I would include testimonials from agents and from sellers. Yesterday a broker told me that an out of state client loved the virtual tour I created for her $1.7M property and they're flying in this week to see it in person. That will be a nice testimonial if they buy it. I also have a testimonial from a seller who mailed me a letter after someone purchased her home "I wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you did photographing the house. We have sold it, thanks to you. As a matter of fact, you were here on a Wednesday... The buyers saw (it on the web) Thursday night, came here Friday at 11:00 am, and bought the house."

I'm thinking of making the portfolio in a traditional photo album, but that may be too aniquated. Anyone have any better ideas for something that looks great but is easy to transport. I could put this on CD as well, but I'd like to have a display.

Becky, I think this is a great idea and definitely creates more exposure for you and your clients.  I think we like in a "McNow" society, and because of that, something like a threefold portfolio would be easier and more accessible, but it also depends on the part of the country.  Your area might be more technology literature than mine, and if so, then something like a CD might be preferred.

Put it on a website and in some sort of album. You can reach two types this way. You are preparing for the future also.eric

Website with gallery and testimonials on it so the broker can revisit it later. Seeing is believing!! I belong to leads groups and set up a laptop to show my presentation. I've heard SO many times "I wish I'd see this sooner...I really didn't GET it when you said you did virtual tours!"

Bring prices, Tour Preparation Tips, testimonials, etc. printed on photo-quality (slick) bright white paper. Use a flat panorama across the top. Use ink jet, high-quality.
