I just reached two milestones at once!

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold, Fair Oaks

I just got 2 milestones all at once!  In 2 days I received 3 leads/referrals directly from Active Rain, and I have appointments with two of them already (one a seller and one a buyer), and at the same time I just noticed that I have over 10,000 points!

Open houses are picking up more and more, even without my dragging my backside around distributing flyers all over the place (just an ad in Craigs List), and I am beginning to feel like the tide is turning, big time!  I also last week had someone just read my website, liked what I said, and called me up to represent them.  That hadn't been happening much lately.

I hope my AR friends are starting to experience the same thing.  Do you feel like the sun is coming out after a lengthy cloudy period?

Also Remember, if you are planning to buy a home, I can help you to tour any home for sale in Sacramento County and the surrounding areas, no matter what firm has it listed, and I can help you with your purchase if you find the perfect home for you.

Just give me a call at (916) 705-8951

Wanted to stop by and say congrats to you on hitting your two milestones. That is awesome!

Open houses are not doing so well here. What are some of the things that you are doing regarding your open houses?

Thank you all for your kind and encouraging comments!  I really do believe that this is the beginning of the end of our drought.  I also believe that with the election so close, we are starting to feel some more energized consumers getting excited about the possibility of some change in the economy.  No matter who wins the election, it seems that the idea of a new administration always gives people hope that whatever doldrums they have been in, they will soon see something better.

The Sun'll come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar....

While we haven't had a lengthy cloudy period I am glad to see that you are having success with your time & effort.  That is spectacular!  I have received one referral & plugging away at this blogging thing to be more innovative in RE.

Lower price ranges in Tri Valley .... Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon .... starting to firm up and sell... mostly low priced REO's .... but before you can turn the corner you have to stop the hemoraging....

Things are definitely getting more active as buyers seem to now understand that now is a good time to get some good deals....

Glad that your market is finally starting to have a pulse....

In Austin, TX we have seen a market shift that started 4 months ago and intensified in August.  We are definitely not out of the woods, but a trend is in place.

The key to this biz is activity versus results.  Measure it and spend your time wisely.  Rather be at the top in commissions than in Active Rain......but AR is a great means of branding for your area.

Susan,

Great to hear that business is picking up over there and AR has produced some good leads for you. The cloud cover in Vegas is starting to break up some, so we are optimistic.

2-3 leads and you've only been on Active Rain a month is something special. I do believe PIPPA in her houston market for staging did something similar but i'ts not common. You certainly did a great job making connections and that's where you got the most out of Active Rain. Congratulations!
