Waste Management is contracted for trash removal services in Highlands Ranch CO. Recycling services are included but they have to be set up so the recycling driver can add your address on his route.

Waste Management - Highlands Ranch trash removal

If you are moving to a new home in Highlands Ranch, you will receive a trash container within two weeks of moving in. This trash container is to stay with the property, even if/when you sell it.
To get the recycling bins there is a small one time fee and then the bins are yours to keep.

Currently the days for curb side residential pick up are Mondays in some subdivisions and Thursdays in others. The trash containers may be put out the night before a pick up and must be removed from the curb the day of pick up. If the pick up day falls on a holiday, the pick up moves to the following day.

The trash container/s must be stored either in your garage or behind fences. The containers should not be left anywhere where they are visible to the street.

Occasionally it can get really windy here in Colorado and Highlands Ranch it is asked that you bag the trash before putting it into the containers to avoid flying litter.
