A Silver Spring Blogger recently wrote this article about the Polychrome Houses.  A Recent Article in the Washington Post  is about these houses - from Montgomery County The Historic Polychrome House District Article and from 2005 another Washington Post article .  Many people seem to be fascinated with these houses.

Nest to Woodside, Woodmore is one of my favorite Silver Spring communities.  There are some jewels there.

Hi, Debbie - Thanks for dropping by my post to comment.  Am I dating myself to much to say "I remember playing that golf course with my grandfather, before there was a Beltway" - Great old neighborhood, and close-in plus close to the Beltway for an easy commute.
