SPAM Hits the Q&A section

By
Mortgage and Lending with Wells Fargo Home Loans

Besides the ability to edit and/or delete our own answers in the Q&A section as Rob suggested.  We need to get some moderators who have the ability to delete other's posts.  We should even consider banning some members who are just SPAMing.

doug anisky (sun group) response in the above Q&A is nothing but spam and makes the rest of us look bad to that customer, and anyone else who is looking for Answers and sees this post.

I sent an email off to the admins about Doug along with the editing questions.  Didn't hear anything yet.

Spamming the Q&A is just friggin' rude to the point of agreement that BANNING should seriously be considered since we KNOW this is PUBLIC (as opposed to the little spats we have in Members only sometimes).

It was bound to happen eventually.  Where there is a free to join forum, access to consumers or e-mail addresses, there will always be SPAM.

Other than Monitors (because eventually it will be too daunting of a task for the AR Support team to police the entire site) I am not sure there is much else you can do.

It does seriously affect the credibility of the system though.

I just had an idea, what if you have to achieve a certain points minimum before you are allowed access to reply to the Q&A section, or have to submit a request to Support where your profile, and previous blogs and posts are reviewed to see if you are in the right spirit of the system?
