There is still time to get out and enjoy the Arizona State Fair this year. The State Fair is located at 19th Avenue & McDowell Rd. in Phoenix, and continues through November 2nd (closed on Mondays).

Child (ages 5 - 13) - $6
Senior (ages 55 and up) - $6
Children under 5 - FREE
Tues - Fri - Open at 12:00 noon
Sat & Sun - Open at 10:00 am
One of the biggest secrets about the Arizona State Fair is all of the discounts they offer. For the next two Sundays (October 26 & November 2), if you go between 10am and Noon, the admission to get into the Arizona State Fair is FREE!
Once you are at the Arizona State Fair, there is plenty to see and do. They have FREE attractions such as Unkle Kunkle's Farm, the Banana Derby, CSI:Live, and a Petting Zoo. The High School Rodeo will be on November 2nd. Meatloaf will be performing October 30th, and LL Cool J will be on November 1st.
Of course there will be plenty of rides and carnival games. The Arizona State Fair has a read and ride program where students ages 5-14 can read 3 books and get 3 carnival rides (Maximum of 3 FREE rides per student) FREE! Also, don't forget that on Wednesday, October 29th, rides are just $1.
There will also be all sorts of animals on display, contests, and don't forget the cotton candy and deep fried twinkies!
The Arizona State Fair has been in operation for 124 years, and has a lot to offer people of all ages. This event comes around only once a year, so don't forget to get out there and enjoy what it has to offer.
