If it sounds Fishy, It is Fishy

Times are economically tight right now but here's a request that I turned down today.  Don't think they are tough enough to justify this one.....Okay so I get an email from a client who says he's looking for five acres of property in a nearby county.  He asks me to find it for him and adds "don't tell Michele, this is a personal investment".  Well, as you probably guessed "Michele" is his wife.  These folks are not friends, just clients but I have met them both and know who they are.  Sounds kinda fishy to me and I am not sure I want to help him purchase property without his wife's knowlege.  Every had this happen?  If so, what did you do?
