Should we all be Brokers?

Real Estate Agent with A-Team Realty, LLC

Good morning everyone. I have recently decided to get my broker license and start my own company.  The plan is to lower my overhead by working from my home office.  I am not planning to grow my business by adding other real estate agents.  I'll be the only agent working under my broker license.  My commission checks will be not subject to any splits and I will not have to pay any monthly fees. I'll have to place a business sign on the side of house (State Law) and this sign will have to adhere to local rules and regulations (HOA, City, County, etc.).  I have to get my own E&O insurance and maintain my records.  All of that being said, I believe that this business model is a smart one to follow. What are your thoughts? Should we all be Brokers?
