As A Stager, what sorts of things do you offer?

Home Stager with Stage It Today

Out of curiousity after months of reading blogs from many stagers, I am wondering what is the range of what stagers do or offer.  What are different services you do?  I have seen things like:

  • verbal consultations
  • e-mailed consultations
  • manuals for consultations that you write in and hand to them
  • calling and setting up 3rd party contractors for the homeowners
  • painting
  • hands-on staging
  • 1/2 day staging
  • full day staging
  • open house staging
  • wallpaper removal
  • tiling
  • moving out furniture to storage
  • boxing and packing
  • cleaning
  • hanging draperies
  • bringing accessories to sell at the consultation or staging
  • shopping for the client
  • furniture rental
  • hair cutting(just joking)
  • painting or replacing light fixtures and handles
  • planting flowers for curb appeal

Tell all!  Stagers do all sorts of things!  What do you offer your homesellers?

Hi Letitia, I do all of the above except painting, wallpaper removeal, tiling, and hair cutting :-) my business license doesnt allow any of those.  And one thing I don't do is clean toilets!  You wouldn't believe how many realtors have asked me, after I pointed out the need to clean, if I would do that.  NOT!  Its a matter of principal.  I'd do it if  there was no one else but the realtors are the ones who let them get that way in the first place, so they can do it themselves or hire it done!  That was a thoughtful list.  I'm sure others will add to it.
