Best Texas BBQ - hands down!

Ready for this? I'd heard about this place since moving to Austin 6 years ago, but never ventured to that part of Austin. Last week our paths crossed and I had to stop.  This place has been written up in many magazines..... drum roll please:

Salt Lick BBQ Restaurant in Driftwood - just SW of Austin. If you're in Austin - make it a point to take this pleasant drive 30 min out of the city and relax with good eats...  Here's the link - enjoy!

Since UT Austin was one of the schools our daughter tried out, we have eaten at the Salt Lick and it is really great food.  Among other schools the kids tried on for size were Texas Tech and Texas A & M.  Bingo.  Not that the other schools weren't great--they just needed to try them all on.  Ended up with an Aggie.  Love Texas, the food and the people!
