SNOW IN CLAYTON NC

By

HEY! CAN YOU BELEIVE ALL THIS SNOW? LOOKS LIKE A WINTER WONDERLAND HAS COME TO NORTH CAROLINA.

This is the first time that I have inserted a picture in my blog and I am having a hard time with it. I have inserted the picture, but there really is no place left to write about it. I think I need more practice. Anyway, the snow was beautiful coming down today, It was just the fat, fluffy snowflakes that are just perfect for making snowcream. So, of course I made snowcream for my grandkids. Everbybody loved it. Even though this is not the norm for us, it was really a gorgeous day here in North Carolina.feont yard

Hi Linda, Beautiful photo, and just so you know, when you insert a photo a little box comes up and on one of the tabs at the top it takes you to a place where you can resize the photo.  All you have to do is change the first number of the number on the left hand size to a smaller number...for instance, if it says 825 X486, change only the 825 to 725 or 625 or 225, whatever size you want. This will automatically adjust for the height and change that also. You can save and publish your post as a DRAFT so you can preview what it looks like. Alternatively you can enlarge the photo the same way...If you change both numbers then it may distort the photo.

On another note, my husband and brother were in NC a week or so ago, driving in the snow. They said that North Carolinians are not used to driving in the snow and there were cars all over the place!

Looks like a New England (every day, lately) scene:)

Karen,

Thank you for the tip on blogging. Yes, in North Carolina we are the first to admit that we don't know how to drive in snow. It sure was beautiful coming down though.

Linda, our North Carolina snowfall was pretty as your picture depicts. One of the things I like about our winters is we can take a "snow day", since it happens infrequently.

I see someone else gave you the tip on resizing your pictures, The name of the tab is "appearance". It took me a while to figure this out and id so from someones blog. One of the things I enjoy about this community.

I read the post below, I hope your closing was not too long delayed.

Jay
