How adorable.  They are too cute.  Love the 'pinkish' eyes.....

Darlene: They showed up on our doorstep in the Fall of 2007.  You've probably seen their Dad and Mom around the neighborhood.  Dad is living in our garage now until we can find him a home.  Gray and white kitty.  Fixed and current on shots.  I don't need anymore kittens.

Phoebe's eyes are actually a very beautiful blue.   This is the cat equivalent of flash induced red eye that you are seeing.  Here's a good look at her eyes.  You can see she's also developed some brown on her head too.  She's just adorable.

Pat:  I couldn't leave outside.  Phoebe had been injured very badly, and very early on.  We decided if she made it, we'd take them in.  Her injury (a HUGE gash in her side) never seemed to bother her.  And with her Mom-cat licking it, it healed up nice and quick.

Leslie:  Clearly, I'm not the person to ask.  I am such a softy for animals.

Chris - Darling babies - I cannot resist they either - Luckily I have a barn, but then again, I think the entire neighborhood of felines knows that!

Gwenn:  I wish I had a barn to house the neighborhood strays.  I can't save them all.  Do you have your strays fixed?

Hi Chris Ann- Awww kitties, I just love them all - it's not an option, just my reality:-)  I have 5 ferals that I care for (gosh, it's been 4 years now) and when it gets cold, like the past few nights in Florida, I build them a makeshift home with a big box and blankets and put a heater out on our porch ( yes I bring them inside when it gets really cold).  While my husband thinks I'm a little "over the top" he always obliges by doing whatever I ask....he's a keeper :-)  It's funny with animal people....we just get it where others don't.  I'm happy your kittens have you.  We can't save them all, but some is better than none!

Gail:  Probably the most important thing, and something that wasn't an option, was fixing feral Dad.  Can't ever seem to catch feral Mom.

Yes Chris Ann- All the ferals I have are fixed, put them through the TNR program.  They are much happier now...fat and sassy too.  Did a post about all my kitties a while back with great comments from several other rainers who've trapped and fixed the ferals in their neighborhoods.  I was very happy to meet these caring people, including yourself :-)

Gail:  I hope that this year I can capture Mom, if she's still around.  Had a sighting of her about three weeks ago.  She's like a gypsy.  Never stays around long.
