More fun with HDR

By
Real Estate Agent with Saint Paul Home Realty

HDR is a photo processing Technique, also called HDRI, for High dynamic range imagining.  Three or more photos, each with a different exposure value, are combined into one photo.  The process brings out details that don't show up in a single photo. I use photomatix to process the photos.  All of the photos were taken with a camera.

Amazing what you can do with the app. Honestly they could be packaged and sold as art. Now, back to folding those towels.

I love coming to see your photos more than reading the RE stuff! It's great seeing what you are doing with the HDR imaging.

Oh Cheryl you are killing me. I belong to so many groups. Love the one about empty chairs. :) I guess it wouldn't kill me to join an HDR group.

Like the officers quarters at Ft. Snelling best.  They are all very nice.  At first glance the people at the conservatory look strange, then I realize they look more real.

Was the conservatory a single image RAW in order to eliminate the ghosting of the people moving, or did they all stay still for your shoot? =P

Teresa - That first one looks like a painting of someone's concept of what life in the future would be like.  I really need to research this, because the photos you show here are amazing.

Matt - some people don't like the extereme stuff. Any of these can be tones down by removing some of the color. Easy to do so that they look more like photos.

nevermind the question is answered. Nice to know you aren't the only one. We haven't uploaded any of ours on this network yet but we may as you seem to be getting some interest from it. I'm guessing you're using photomatix with photoshop. How long you been doing hdr for teresa.

Teresa, are you sure you are a Realtor and not a professional photographer???  Your photos are beautiful!  I'm glad not all Realtors have the photography skills like you do, otherwise I would be out of a job ;)
