Will the United states go into another Depression?

  Great Depresion

As everyone knows, things are not looking real good for the United States. I don't like bad news and everyone else is tired of hearing about our economy.

But facts are facts and we can't continue to look the other way. We the people need to take action an help find ways to help swing the country out of another depression.

 (Will it take another Revolution)?

Latest news from Las Vegas Nevada and it's headed across the United States.

By the end of 2009, Harrah's Entertainment, MGM Grand and Stations Casino's will be going into Bankruptcy.

There are no Company's, Banks or Lenders that plan on bailing these Casino's out.

What will happen to Las Vegas or any city for that matter?

Some people think these are just rumors, are they?

                             Great Depression

These are not just rumors, the Casino owners etc, have been cutting back on jobs, to try and make ends meet and it's only started. It's going to get much worse!

We need to start feeding money back into our economy!

These home prices are going to continue to drop through out the year of 2009.

I would suggest that everyone get their ducks in a row before it's to late.

I do apologize for the bad news, but it's no different then what you've been hearing on Television or else where!

And what are we going to call this one?    "The not so Great Depression"

I have not watched television in over ten years and really don't plan on turning one on. As for the market being better in other states and cities, that is great news but we have not hit bottom yet.

And for all the properties selling around the United States, this is also wonderful news. But as the economy continues to drop and people keep losing jobs, how are they going to pay for these properties that they have purchased.

I think it's all hype about how great the market is in your State, City and Town and I will make sure to bookmark this blog with any comments relating to it so I can contact you later this fall.

Until then don't forget to get your (Duck's) in a row because your going to need too!

I think we will see a turn around eventually, although it will be painful.  It is so hard to see friends hurting, and although I'm not facing immediate problems, I still have days filled with stress and worry.  I find it helpful to surround myself with positive people and learn new things each day......keeps my mind of scary thoughts and helps me move forward.

Robert:  I don't know about revolution... but it seems like its time to overhaul are tax system in the US.  A flat tax or national sales tax are appealing to me.  If you save as opposed to spend, you pay less tax.   I know we are a consumer society - but our savings rate is and remains miserable.

My concern is that this depression will make the last depression look like nothing.  At least back then we made goods that we sold to the rest of the world.  Right now I'm sitting on a chair made in Taiwan.  Typing on a computer made in China, wearing clothes made in Mexico.  A lot has changed since then.  I think we're less prepared.

Things are looking up over here in San Diego. Stimulus money has arrived, home sales have been up for seven consecutive months, companies are hiring....
