Grapefruit Seed Extract is Better Than Duct Tape

By

You can use duct tape for just about everything. Many years ago, I used to venture out every other Saturday for my bi-weekly manicure (french tips, of course) because a girl always feels pretty when her feet (and toes) look good.  Eventually, I developed warts on the ring and middle fingers of my right hand.  This had absolutely nothing to do with the manicures.  But, I became self conscious about my fingers when the warts grew large enough to cause the nailbeds to become misshapened and the manicurists would comment on them.  I tried everything to get rid of these warts: freezing, Compound W, duct tape (yeah, there really are a million and one ways to use duct tape), everything!  Nothing worked.  The warts might get a little smaller for a while, but they kept coming back.  And, they invited their cousins to join them!  It appeared that I had some kind of virus in my system that manifested in warts, rather than the plain old, run-of-the-mill topical kind.  Yippee!  I'm special.

Use grapefruit seed extract for your warts.About a year and a half ago, my mother-in-law recommended that I try Grapefruit Seed Extract.  This is an absolutely vile, revolting concoction of the most sour tasting stuff you could ever imagine.  But, I decided that, if it was going to work, I was going to keep at it.  So, I mixed 10 drops of extract in a shotglass full of water, choked it down and followed it up with a nice citrus-flavored juice as a chaser.  After a couple of days, I noticed a marked improvement in the size of the warts.  After a few weeks, they were completely gone.  My fingers were normal looking again.  It's been over a year and they still have not come back.  Amazing stuff.

Grapefruit seed extract is also recommended for colds, gastrointestinal disorders, upset stomach, diarrhea, poison ivy/oak, rashes, cold sores and even head lice, dandruff and chicken pox.  It's amazing what a few drops of grapefruit seed extract can naturally do to your body's immune system.  It's also available in pill form, but the liquid gets absorbed into your system much easier.  Go to your local health foods store and pick yourself up a bottle today.

I have two warts on my hands, one on my thumb and one on my pinky, each on different hands.  They have been there for about a year, won't go away no matter what I try, maybe I'll have to give your idea a shot!

Also, if the grape fruit seed extract really is better than duct tape maybe my friend can start using that to hold his bumper onto his car!

Everyone should definitely give this little natural wonder drug a try.  It's full of antioxidants, is great for the immune system and doesn't hurt your liver like multivitamins and prescription or OTC drugs can.  Just don't mix it with tomato juice.  It was like my throat and my stomach were having a war of who was going to keep the mixture and my stomach won.  I had to run to the bathroom.  My stomach rejected it immediately!

Andrew - I HIGHLY recommend this stuff.  You won't be sorry.  Give it a good 2-3 weeks and you'll see an amazing improvement.  If you've tried all the topical stuff and nothing has worked, then you probably have the kind of wart that is a virus in your system.  This was the only thing that worked.

Heather, too bad it tastes so nasty!  Still, I think I'm going to try it the next time I feel like I'm coming down with a cold!

Robert - It's amazing what grapefruit seed extract helps with.  If you google it, you'll find all kinds of things.

Patricia - If you take it every day, even 5 drops in orange juice, it will help with your immune system.  You may not come down with a cold again.

Good luck, Zane.  You won't be sorry.  Make sure to take it right when you start to feel a little yucky.  That's best.

Thanks for the re-blog, Leander.  It's for so much more than just warts, though.  It cures alot of things.  A quick Google search wields some head-shaking results.

That sounds helpful, except you don't tell how many times a day you took the GSE - one, two, three?  Did you put any directly on your warts, too, like I've heard you should do, or did you use anything else?

Hi, Karen.  I didn't put the GSE directly on my warts.  I would put 10 drops in a little water once a day, drink it as quickly as I could and chase it with orange juice to get rid of the God-awful sour taste from the GSE.  In a couple of weeks, my warts were completely gone.  I'm currently taking it to help combat an infection in my foot from a 2nd degree burn.  It's working really well along with the hydrocortosone cream and the aloe vera juice I started taking.  I'm taking 10 drops of GSE twice a day.  I highly recommend it.

I've taken it two or three days now and still don't see any difference in the warts, but I am wondering, did you take it on an empty stomach, before or after a meal, or what?  Maybe that makes the difference.  I would really like to know.  Thank you.

Sorry about that, Karen.  It takes a little while before you see a difference.  I took 10 drops dissolved in a small glass of water twice a day.  I don't think it makes a difference on whether you take it on an empty stomach or not.  I take it first thing in the morning before I eat and usually right before I eat dinner.  You just have to stick with it.  I would think you would see a difference within about a week or so.  I took it for quite a while afterward to make sure the virus was gone.  Some warts are an internal virus.  If you've tried having them frozen off and they don't go away, that means it's most likely an internal virus instead of a topical issue.

Thanks, Heather.  I sent a message, but maybe it didn't take.  I appreciate your advice and will consider it.  It's just taking the 10 drops a day was cleaning me out too good and I can't afford to lose weight, but I'll keep it in mind.  Thanks again.

Well, that's not an issue I have to deal with, Karen.  I got plenty to spare, unfortunately.  It was the best stuff I could find for my warts.  I tried having them frozen off, cut off, I even went so far as to clip the top of it and put Compound W directly onto the open wart, but they wouldn't go away until I took the GSE.  There is the, um, "cleansing" side effect it has.  Good luck!

I started back up this morning.  I also was taking the oj after like you, but maybe that was too much.  So I won't do that and see if it's not so bad.  I also talked my husband into having some as he was getting a cold.  I warned him about the taste and told him to drink it fast.

I'll let you  know how things go.   Thanks for the good wishes.

Hi Heather,

I've been taking the GSE for a week now, plus one morning, and I don't see any improvement.  I'm trying to maintain an anti-fungal diet.  I also don't see anyone but you who had this fortune by drinking it instead of applying it.  The only thing for sure that has happened is I've become more lean.  But seeing as I don't need that, I am thinking of giving up after tonight if I don't see improvement by tomorrow.  I had one turn black but then the black fell off and left the wart underneath (and I don't know to attribute it to GSE or ACV).  I've turned to using ACV on them for about a week and a half now.  I wish I could give you better news.  You must have been eating differently or have a stronger immune system.  I haven't been to the doctors because of all the disappointment I've read online.  I have been to the doctor's for other problems and they end up being stress-related and I spent all that money on co-pays for nothing.  So, I'm trying alternative routes. I may try applying it again as I got rid of one by using it along with tea tree, ACV and I think one day of salycic at different times.  If I could remember what I did, I'd reproduce the pattern.

If anyone out there ever finds they are cured of warts by just drinking it, I'd like to know, but for now, I'm close to quitting.  I know these things take time, but I need some meat on my bones.

Karen
