It's Time To Say "Good-Bye" - Part 2

By
Real Estate Agent with St. Charles County, Missouri - Prudential Alliance Realtors

I told you all about my horse Blade and the fact that I have to sell him, right?  Well, I thought I'd give you an update...

I've had some interest in him, and yesterday, a nice young lady came by the ranch to look at him.  She seemed to like him, and I think that they might be a good fit for each other.  She knows a lot about horses and rides more "English" than I do, but Blade was trying to figure her out and do as she asked.

She is supposed to talk to her husband and get back to me later this week. I will keep you posted...  :)

Sounds like you might have a buyer, but I always hate that talk to my spouse first departure, usually means you may or may not have a deal, best bet is when the wife likes the subject!

Hi Debi...I'm sorry I missed the first post about this.  When was that?

Hopefully Blade will find a good home whether with this woman or someone else.  This must not be an easy time for you.

Having a sale would be exciting but you must have mixed feelings.  I hope it all works out for the best, for you and Blade.

Steve - The spouse is always a legitimate way out.  We'll see...  :)

Kate - I think I first posted it about a month ago.  It is hard, but I think she would be a good owner for him.  :)

Valerie - I'd say that she is about 45 minutes away from my house.  It's not too far, but I don't know if she'd appreciate my visits...  :)

Sharon - "Mixed feelings" is a good way to put it.  I'll let you know what happens...  :)

Donna - I hope so, too!  Thanks for stopping by...  :)

Debi - I missed your first blog about selling your horse.  What kind is it?  We used to be horse people -- well, my daughter and son were fanatics --- I was just a "mom" looking on and encouraging them. Liza and Claude road English.

Debi - I hope that this worked out for the best.  It is hard to sell and animal that you have spent time with even if you know in your head that it is the right thing.  One of my kids had a horse named Blade.  He was a 17 hand warm blood with an attitude who know more than she did.  Sometimes if you pushed the wrong buttons you didn't know what you would get.  Often asking for a bend she would use a little too much hand and all of a sudden they would be doing shoulder ins laterally across the ring.

So sorry to see you have to get rid of Blade Debi.  There is nothing harder.  I wish you the best and I know you will send Blade off to a good home!

Liz - He is 3/4 Arabian and 1/4 Saddlebred.   He's very smart and learns quickly... By the way, my daughter rides English, too! :)

Pam - LOL!  Wow! 17 hands is a tall horse!  Blade is about 14.3 hands...  :)

Debra - Thank you, and Thanks for stopping by!  :)
