Our family has lived in Annapolis for more than 10-years. Our children graduated from Annapolis High. (Shout out to Collin, who was Valedictorian 2 years ago!) One graduated from SMCM. We've been active in the arts, charities, and local business communities. We've even managed significant sailing time on the Chesapeake, as I guess one should in the town proclaimed as "Sailing Capital of the World." We live at the headwater of Back Creek, in the county said to have more waterfront than any other in the US, all 534 miles of Bay, River, Creek, Streams. In other words, we love this town and will be happy to share our "insider knowledge" of the best of Annapolis. Come on down - out team will help you buy or sell or just visit.
As a professional real estate consultant, I believe the most important skills necessary to successfully represent a client are experience, education, and proven negotiation skills. Experience is much more than number of years in the business - it is the ability to work with people across all spectrums. Education is essential, both in academic environments and in non-traditional venues like webinars and audio books. If a REALTOR isn't a top-notch negotiator, all the other skills are somewhat moot: You must negotiate to yield the maximum return to your client -- the ultimate fiducial duty of an agent. With quality education and experience, those negotiation skills are strengthened.
