I have been in the lending business close to a decade and, during that time, I have seen periods of normal and extremely difficult mortgage lending. Regardless of the environment, I have taken the time to ensure that my clients receive the best value and experience possible. The backbone of achieving this goal on all my loans is an unwavering commitment to service. I consider it essential to connect with each and every one of my clients, preferably in person, to complete the application. This step provides me the chance to fully uncover your needs and requirements, as well as to better understand you as an individual. Additionally, my private banking experience has given me an especially innate view of how a client should be treated and I apply this service that to all of my deals from $100,000 to $2,000,000. I joined Chicago Bancorp to offer my clients the best mix of programs and service that I have seen in the marketplace.
Prior to joining Chicago Bancorp, I attended and graduated from West Point. Upon graduation, I was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army Artillery, where served 5 years in numerous roles and in various deployments include service in Kuwait. After leaving the Army, I worked in the telecommunications industry in operations, sales and marketing roles. It was during this time that I learned the importance of listening to the client to fully understand their needs and requirements, which has helped me greatly in placing my clients in the right loan program.
In 2001, I transitioned to the banking industry and quickly established a thriving mortgage business built upon extraordinary service and an unwavering commitment to integrity and ethical behavior. In my years in banking, I have served in a variety of roles spanning loan origination, business development, and sales management, which provide me the unique ability to understand all aspects of the process and all types of clients. I most recently served as a Vice-President with Citigroup's Private Bank, where I handled all residential lending for Citigroup's high net worth clients in Chicago and Texas.
In addition to my bachelor's Degree from West Point, I hold an M.B.A. from Loyola University Chicago, where he was also inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. I also served as President for the West Point Society of Chicago from 2003 to 2005 and still serve on the Board of Directors. In addition my lending duties, I am a blogger for The Chicago77 and Living in Lincoln Park. When not working, I spend my time with my wife and three children in my hometown of Oak Park, as well as pursuing my passions for rugby, fitness, poker, BBQ, and the banjo.
