REAL ESTATE BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE:
2011: transferred to THE PARTNER NETWORK LLC - with offices in East Lyme, Norwich, Danielson and Plainfield. I strongly feel that this move will allow me to offer my clientele an expanded marketing area throughout eastern Connecticut and not just the shoreline.
2010: at William Pitt - Sotheby's International Realty where I received excellent training and mentoring specifically targeted toward upscale properties.
2007-2008: at Prudential CT Realty, Waterford... With two teenagers about to start driving I made a career transition closer to home. Prudential University training facilities in Rocky Hill gave me the opportunity to complete a year of education in new homes and land, and a primer on successful marketing strategies used throughout the state.
2006: Licensed in February as a salesperson and REALTOR, spending my first year at Weichert, REALTORS in Stonington CT. Completed this national brand's "fast track training" and achieved my way into the top performer group of their locally franchised sales office.
Pre-2006: I was all about "GREEN" before being so became chic and trendy. The career transition to REALTOR was preceded by a twenty five year career in organic horticulture, with a specialization in design project and nursery management. I am passionate about the earth and preserving its sustainability for future generations. I am pursuing the designations of Eco Broker and E-PRO, traveling the USA to conferences as well as new models and subdivisions where alternative sustainable housing options are showcased. I include my past life experiences in my current work. E-PRO is the technology literacy designation awarded to the real estate industry. I have firmly grasped the need for combining technology with sustainability, both for our environment and professional lives.
My previous employment at Muse Design, Sag Harbor New York, involved extensive revegitation projects of overcleared new and existing properties to satisfy DEC, DEP guidelines. I find New London county rather underplanted from a horticultural point of view and would love to help home owners increase their specimen plant palate as well as enhance their native plant collections.
The public is welcome to come along on my adventures to view exciting housing opportunities, technology seminars, and flower shows garden tours. There are always upcoming opportunities on the calender to attend. It is my hope to actively pursue these avenues as a skilled transaction facilitator in the 21st Century.
