VA Mortgage Loans in Cupertino California and 100% VA Loans - the best loan program in the country! VA Mortgage Loans are one of the best mortgage loan programs available today for both honorably discharged Vets and active duty military personnel. Here are some of the great features of this fantastic program: - Up to 100% financing, with no down required. - No monthly mortgage insurance added to your payment. - More lenient credit qualifying standards than other types of mortgage loans. - Low rates compared to other loan programs.

So how do you qualify for a VA Mortgage Loan in Cupertino California?

The first step is to verify your eligibility. Eligibility is verified by ordering your Certificate of Eligibility or COE. You can work with an approved Cupertino California VA mortgage loan lender to order your COE quickly, or you can contact the VA to obtain a copy. If discharged, you will need your DD214. The next step is to get pre-approved with an experienced VA lender. It is very important that you contact a lender who knows the VA Mortgage Loan program and all of the important differences compared to other mortgage programs. Give us a call now.

To get pre-approved your credit will be checked and basic supporting documentation like bank statements and W2s are required. Although there is no down payment required for VA Mortgage loans, it's important not to forget that there are VA closing costs involved in every transaction. Don't confuse no down payment loans with meaning nothing is due at closing! Your VA lender should prepare you for how much is due at closing. There are ways to finance the closing costs if you don't have money available for this, and your lender can help you with these options. Learn more about your VA Home Loan benefits by visiting our Alameda office located at 1416 Park Ave. Alameda, California.

It is very important that you work with a local lender who understands the unique aspects of VA Mortgage Loans. Hiking to the Stevens Creek Reservoir from Fremont Older Open Space, in Cupertino/Saratoga CA.  This 4-5 miles hike takes about 3.5 hours.

Fremont Older, looking at the valley

If you are looking at a longer hike that takes you through some great diverse zones in nature, then this is a great hike for you.  Start at the Prospect Road parking lot.  If you arrive later in the day, the small lot can be full, as many hikers come for the easy slopes and the dog-friendly atmosphere.  Head up any of the trails, in within minutes you see a full panoramic view of Silicon Valley.  This picture is showing the past (dead tree in an orchard) looking down on the future (Silicon Valley).

Trail Markers at Fremont Older

As you can see, the trails are clearly marked.  There is even a brochure box at the parking lot to help you navigate the trails.  This side of the mountain there are many hikers, and you will always be around others.

Lizard on a log

As you climb the mountain, you can catch glimpses of Lizards, butterflies, gophers, deer, snakes, falcons, eagles, buzzards, mice, coyote, rabbits, birds and flowers...

Snake

Snakes...  Did I say snakes?  Saw this big guy last time I was out.  He just crossed the path!

Butterfly

As you start to crest the top of the mountain, you meet up with Stevens Creek County Park.  The Park is much more green then Fremont Older, and the diversity of nature increases...  It is a long descend to the reservoir, but it is worth the effort.

Stevens Creek Reservor

The lake is pretty big, and this is just the back end of the feeder stream.  It is sooooo full right now, you can see a lot of trees under water...

Trail at Stevens Creek Park

Back on the Stevens Creek Canyon side,it is shady and quieter.  When you are ready to head back, don't forget the uphill hike on the way back.
