Kailua Hosts First Outdoor Brunch Fest!

Kailua Brunch Fest provides food and fun for the whole family

 

Kailua, Hawaii (June, 13) – This summer, head to Kailua’s first monthly outdoor brunch festival starting Sunday, July 21st, from 8am-2pm located at 407 Uluniu Street (next to Walgreens). Kailua Brunch Fest will take place every third Sunday of the month.

 

Kailua Brunch Fest will feature the best food and retail vendors from around Oahu for a fun, outdoor community brunch experience. A must visit for locals and tourists alike, attendees of the festival will get to sample brunch foods from restaurants and food trucks in one 

 

fun location. Food vendors include Cinnamon’s, Whatcha Fillin’, Pinky’s, Mark’s Specialties, and more! This festival is perfect for brunch lovers-- enjoy pancakes, waffles, or maybe even both! 

 

More than just ono foods, Kailua Brunch Fest will have live entertainment, keiki singing contests, eating contests, and breakfast decorating contests. Winners will receive coupons for free food and drinks. Local schools will participate and perform, such as Le Jardin, and there will be plenty of fun and activities for the whole family! This event is free to the public.

The highly anticipated Ka Malanai condos in Kailua are coming soon! Here is the latest announcement.....Estimated sales will begin this summer. I also took a picture last week from Kailua Road. Not the greatest pic, but it shows the construction site of the first of 6 buildings being built. The project has posted 4 floor plans so far. There are 2 bedroom floor plans, one 1287 sf and the other 1270 sf interior. Then there are 3 bedroom floor plans, one 1515 sf, and the other 1529 sf interior. Compared to the other condos in the area, these tend to be a little more roomy inside. They still haven't revealed HOA fees or list prices yet....... 

You have the choice of purchasing these condos independantly, directly with DR Horton when the lottery is announced, or be represented by a Realtor at no extra cost to you. If you would like me to assist you with this project, I will be happy to. Just notify me and I will keep you posted as to the progress. I wanted to share with you Ka Malanai. This is a NEW condominium complex that is in the process of being built in Kailua. It has just broke ground about a month ago. I've known about this news of a new condominium complex building for several years now. I have a laundry list of buyers who would like the opportunity to purchase these units.

Why is it in such a large demand? Well Kailua is a small town that has hardly any vacant land available to build beyond a house or two here and there, no less a NEW condominium complex such as this. The location is right in Kailua town, just blocks away from Kailua Beach. The location is prime!

Estimated price range that has been revealed to us realtors in various regional meetings will be units starting at $400,000 to $800,000. They say that there will be limited amenties, so I anticipate that the maintenance fees will be reasonable.

There is such a demand for selling these units, that they anticipate selling the units via by lottery.

I have copy and pasted their link so you can hear it from the horses mouth. As you will see, their website isn't as up to date as some of the information I have just shared with you, but there is valuable information below if you are interested in details of their plans.
