Country Club Properties LLC will take over the 152 acre property on Oxford Road that includes a 6,821 yard, par-72 golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, and clubhouse.  It also includes a restaurant leased by CPW’s.   The tax value listed in county records is $3,952,320.

Country Club Properties LLC organized by Carlton Taylor on December 10, was top bidder at $3.087 million after a foreclosure auction of Brook Valley Country Club.  The bidding was officially closed January 11, 2008.

Taylor plans to discuss the future of the course at a later date, but stated he would survey the homeowners and members for their input.   He plans to create a first-class golf atmosphere as well as add many amenities, including a fitness center with personal training,  spa facilities and family oriented programs with social activities for all ages. 

Taylor is a former president of the country club and owner of Taylor Properties in Greenville.
