TeaGschwendner, located in Cameron Village on
Street, participated this weekend in the grand
opening of the newly renovated NC Museum of Art
located on Blue
Ridge Road. Guest were able to select from a
variety of fine, loose-leaf teas, such as, Blood Orange,
Sencha, etc. Teas were sold hot or cold, of
course, during the rain showers visitors welcomed the hot tea but
once the sun was out, the switch was to cold. The
Coconut is to die for, and no matter how many kilos
they order, it sells out quickly. Earl Grey 69 is
another one that sells quickly. It was an award winning tea
at the World Tea Expo in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, they were sold
out at the event at the museum.
For those who have never experienced fine teas, the RaleighTeaGschwender is a
cultural journey through several countries. The staff is
knowledgeable about all aspects of tea from the garden to the
cup...the focus is totally on the teas, even though, they carry a
line of tea accessories for the convenience of their
customers. TeaGschwendner is new
to the American market, but it is widely recognized in Europe and
Latin America. They buy directly from the growers, never in
auctions or through middlemen. The teas are screened in the
fields as well as in their laboratories in Germany for metals
and pesticides. Only the finest teas are offered in the
shop. Avid tea drinkers will be stunned by the selection of
over 250 teas. Some names are easily recognized while others
are very rare and limited.
The shop is open seven days a week from 10-7 Monday-Saturday and
12-6 on Sunday. Want to know more about teas?
tea tasting classes the second and third week of the month.
In addition to these events, they will schedule private tea
tastings for small groups or clubs. Call the manager to
discuss your needs. Don't live in Raleigh, they will ship
within the state for less than $5.

Bobby Carroll, Real Estate Marketing (Dakno Marketing)
As Monday's go, mine was going really well. I had even updated
my Facebook status to say "Bobby is having a great
day!" Why was this Monday such an awesome day. Life is all
about how you view it, and I made a conscious decision to don my
"rose colored glasses" and make it a great day. Plus, the fact that
Brad and I had completed our mission to build a
TV studio provided a dose of satisfaction. Why build a TV studio?
To stream live video webinars like our Blogging BootCamp, a Social Media
BootCamp (in the planning stages) as well as some FREE live
streaming real estate marketing webinars. Life was (and is)
Hanging with the Boss!
Little did I know Brad's invitation to grab some lunch and go
with him to the post office to process his passport request would
take a really cool twist. I always relish hanging out with my boss!
I hope you can say the samething about yours.
Brad Headed North of the Border
A passport is required for Brad to travel to Canada next month
when he speaks with Coach Ken at a RE/MAX
conference. Anytime you mix the Federal Government (passport
request) and the post office, you face a lengthy wait and the
height of inefficiency. After lunch, we headed to the post office
to submit Brad's passport application. Brad called me from inside
to say "I'm number six in line and the line is going
nowhere". With that, I headed for the nearest Starbucks in
