Check out Polk Place - A Premier Franklin Neighborhood Polk Place is located just a mile southwest of Downtown Franklin, just behind the Carnton Plantation an Eastern Flank Battlefield Park of the Battle of Franklin. Most homes range between $400,000 and $500,000 and are traditional style brick homes.  Many homes have side entrance garages and quite a few with no homes behind them. The neighborhood's front entrance is graced with two beautiful ponds and there is easy access from Mack Hatcher Pkwy.  Convenient to shopping, dining, downtown and just a few minutes drive to the Malls at Galleria in Cool Springs.  Also easy access to I-65 and the 840 By-pass to get you anywhere you need to be quickly. Polk Place is a sidewalked community and it has a additional membership to the pool.  It is perfect if you desire an out-of-the-way location that is not so out-of-the-way.  Many of the homes here have side entry garages and first floor bedrooms.  As of this post it is zoned for Franklin Elementary, Freedom Middle and Centennial High School.
