Celebrate Bastille Day and French culture at the 4th Annual Bastille on Bishop celebration, Sunday, July 14! Bring friends and family of all ages to the Bishop Arts District, between 7th Street and Melba, and enjoy an evening of delicious French food and fun.
Ten nearby restaurants will prepare delicious duck confit, steamed mussels, sausage and baguettes, crepes, parfaits, and other delicious French foods. Admission tickets include one glass of wine. Additional drink tickets may be purchased.
The French Chamber of Commerce and the Alliance Francaise de Dallas are sponsoring kids activities in front of one of my favorite Dallas kids' boutiques, Cozy Cottage.
Join Le tour de Tandemonium or be a spectator! This year, two persons may participate on a tandem bicycle, cargo bicycle or a bicycle with a trailer.
Play Petanque, a game that began in the Provence Region of France in the early 1900s. Players throw hollow metal balls as close as possible to a wooden ball called a cochonnet.
Have your photo taken at the popular French photo booth! You are welcome to dress in French inspired clothing for Bastille on Bishop.
Enjoy music provided by the Matt Tolentino Quartet, Texas Gypsies and DJ Victor Rimach.
